Firewall Rules Hit Report

Sophos SG330 Firmware version 9.605-1

Is there a way to get a report from Fastvue showing firewall rules that are not being used or have zero "hits"?

Hey Andre,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Unfortunately, Fastvue Reporter can only show information contained in your log files, and only rules in use will generate log data.

Perhaps try running an *IT and Network Security* report on a large enough time frame (a couple of days should be enough) to see the Firewall Rules and Policies that have been logged. You can use the 'Export to CSV' option above the tables if needed.

Then log into your Sophos UTM and compare this list with the full set of rules.
