FastVue Graphs

Nicholas Toupin Apr 29, 2015 09:14AM PDT

I find the graphs on the dashboard to be a great visual aspect. Is there any plans or ability to add the graphs to the reporting with settings?

For example the Bandwidth Today graph - the ability to run a report on a bandwidth graph for X to X date/times with the same stats as displayed on the dashboard?
This would be a great visual representation for comparing specific days/events via the graphs to other dates.

Hey Nicholas,

Thanks for getting in touch.

We do have plans to add more options and functionality to the charting and tables displayed throughout the Reporter application. We'll take your feature request into account.

Just to confirm, are you looking for the ability to go back/forward in time when looking at a bandwidth over time chart on the Overview Dashboard for example? Or are you after extra series to be displayed on the chart for min/max/average for previous dates? Or both?

Sounds good!

Ideally the ability to set start and end dates for the charts that are being displayed, if not on the dashboard then as options for creating a new report to display the charts. Also the ability to "export" that chart - pdf, jpg, etc.

This way I could export a chart for a specific date, then in the future export another date, go back to a specific date, etc. and compare the graphs. It would be great for visual evidence of changes in the network or policies.

Or for example on the productivity line chart - the ability to show what the productivity was on X date compared to a new date after X policy was put into place or X site blocked.

Hope that helps explain it more.

Thanks for the clarification Nicholas.

I'll keep you posted on any progress that gets made in this area. Thanks again!
